ISC2 Member Referral Program Terms and Conditions

Eligibility

Members who refer others are “Referrers;” those who are referred are “Referred Friends.”

Referrer eligibility: a current member of ISC2 and CISSP certification holder in good standing.

Referred Friend: To qualify for a reward payout, Referred Friends must be eligible to take the CISSP exam, must not be current members of ISC2, and must not have scheduled, registered, or paid for any CISSP exam prior to referral under this program.

“Qualified Referral Email Address” is a Referral email address that meets each of the following conditions: the email address is not associated with an individual who is a current ISC2 member; the email address is not associated with the Referrer’s membership account at ISC2.

The Qualified Referral Email Address may be associated with the email address of an individual who holds a non-member ISC2 account such as an ISC2 Candidate account.

It is important that Referred Friends who already hold an ISC2 non-member account on isc2.org and wish to apply to participate in the Referral Program use the same email address as the one associated with their existing ISC2 account. Otherwise, we are unable to issue rewards.

How the Program Works

To participate in the Program as a Referrer, you must refer a friend (the “Referred Friend”).

To refer a friend, you (as the Referrer) should share the online Referral Application Form and your ISC2 member ID with your Referred Friend.

Your Referred Friend must complete the Referral Application Form in full, including your (the Referrer’s) ISC2 member ID.

The Referred Friend must become a full ISC2 member and CISSP certification holder within 6 months of completing the Referral Application Form. For CISSP certification eligibility requirements and steps to certification, visit https://www.isc2.org/certifications/cissp.

If the above criteria of a Referred Friend becoming a full CISSP holder and ISC2 member is met within 6 months of completing the Referral Application Form, both Referrer and Referred Friend will receive a $50 virtual “Thank you” gift card issued to their primary email address within one month of the Referred Friend paying their first Annual Maintenance Fee (AMF). Gift cards are powered by Tremendous.com* and the Participants will be able to choose from a catalogue of 2,000 options such as VISA card, Amazon, Uber, Airbnb vouchers and many more.

There is no limit to the number of friends a Referrer can refer.

*The issuance of a Tremendous.com gift card is subject to the Tremendous.com Privacy Policy located at https://www.tremendous.com/privacy/. By submitting your Referral Application Form, you [Referred Friend] are consenting to ISC2 sharing your name and e-mail and the Referrer name and e-mail with Tremendous.com to facilitate the issuance of your gift card.
